He is my professor. Toughest professor I have ever had. He really does want you to do well, just make sure you “have the facts” when you talk to him. He just wants us to be the best journalists we can be. These videos are my favorite things Karl has ever done. I give them an A+.
And Frank F, he was an investigative reporter actually haha.
Wow, one of his former student won an Emmy! Very impressive. His teaching method must be really tuff but great reward in the end for students who work really hard. I would give him a 10 for the hot chillis. Love his voice too!
This guy seems like he would be a fun person to talk to, but he would be a traumatizing professor. Just listening to him speak about school is so honest it’s scary. I prefer a professor who’s a little more soft in speech. But that’s my taste.

Which is to say he's an intelligent person who likely would appreciate an intelligent student who actually puts in good effort and show good results.
So, if you're not a weakass sissy shopping for grades and actually ARE interested in journalism, then he'd be one you'd recommend.
He does seem like a tough/rough nail, which is good, in that profession (journalism, if not teaching, too) you need a strong stomach sharp mind and steady feet, otherwise you'd wash out fast.
I like him. Seems like someone you could learn a lot from, if you give him and his course the proper respect.

If you don’t like the way he treats you, just wait until you enter the profession of Journalism.
He’s nice compared to the people you’ll work for.
