I like him. He is honest and seems willing to push students to better themselves. Incase no one gets it, that is what a college education is about! I would take him for any class it I was at the same school.

I saw this guy once in a restaurant. He was several tables away from us and speaking so loudly everyone in the place could hear him. It was a small place, so it was obvious he was just after all the attention. But I do like his hair.

I'm 27, I'm losing my hair, probably going bold soon…I ENVY him for having such an awesome fluffy hair at such an age (though I'd probably strike it down smooth or make a sexy italian/spanish hair-bow-tie out of it rather than a whitey-fro).

"News flash, no one can teach you other than yourself. " That is so wrong it's not even funny…anymore. There are far too many "teachers" that don't earn the money they receive for the job they are supposed to be doing…let alone the title of "teacher" or "instructor".

Love his comments on “Buying an education”. He’s right, students need to put more time and effort into EARNING their degrees. It would be nice to think that degrees are not just handed out.

Unfortunately, I agree with three of his videos. (Excluding the hair)… I just hope that people become professors because they are passionate and interested and like or don’t mind helping students, not because they get some big honkin pay check at the end of month or week. Same with doctors and nurses.

How can something as irrelevent as hair even be a topic of discussion? And now, I must “own the projection”, as the Gestaltists put it: why am I even responding to this? Hey, I’ve had buzzcuts, perms, and everything in between. Apparently, none of those styles affected either my desire to learn nor my gpa.

I like what he said and I think that he was hilarious when he was being sarcastic. I don’t care how my professor looks but if he is a good professor, and I learn something at the end of the course. I would love that I still have so much hair when I am at his age. If it’s the shampoo or conditioner that is responsible for his hair, I would love to know what brand.

I approve of this message! So often students blame their instructor for not “teaching” them. News flash, no one can teach you other than yourself. All an instructor can do is facilitate an environment that will engage you in leading yourself. Take ownership of your education and take responsibility for your grade. Keep up the good work!
