OKay – he sounds like a decent guy and a decent teacher – but did anyone else notice that the pupil on one eye is twice as large as the other???

I approve of this message! So often students blame their instructor for not “teaching” them. News flash, no one can teach you other than yourself. All an instructor can do is facilitate an environment that will engage you in leading yourself. Take ownership of your education and take responsibility for your grade. Keep up the good work! Oh yea… I love the hair don’t let them tell you different!

haha, this guy looks cute to me, dono about his class but would like to take it, because it will make me feel like I am in Harry Potter magic school. lol
April 20th, 2008 at 11:20 pm
You are sooo hot, the hair beautiful, but honestly the video does not show your genuine elegance, your ability to listen, contemplate, and co-create. Take responsibility for your learning people. Pleassse.
April 30th, 2008 at 6:48 pm
That hair is way too distracting. If i was his boss I would make him cut it off.
May 4th, 2008 at 12:23 am

ewww, he looks like someone who lays on the park bench in NYC

I like what he said and I think that he was hilarious when he was being sarcastic. I don’t care how my professor looks but if he is a good professor, and I learn something at the end of the course. I would love that I still have so much hair when I am at his age. If it’s the shampoo or conditioner that is responsible for his hair, I would love to know what brand.

Cool guy. Too bad he has to teach the losers who make these dumb comments about him. What trivial people. Study more and stop complaining. Boo hoo.

August 5th, 2008 at 7:34 pm

August 16th, 2008 at 1:44 am
Get over it people and stop being so ignorant! Have some respect for all of your Professors. Without them we won’t learn! Hello!
Stop being so judgemental. One day you all will look old with gray hair. So What!
August 24th, 2008 at 4:51 am
Good grief.
How can something as irrelevent as hair even be a topic of discussion? And now, I must “own the projection”, as the Gestaltists put it: why am I even responding to this? Hey, I’ve had buzzcuts, perms, and everything in between. Apparently, none of those styles affected either my desire to learn nor my gpa.
I still have all my hair.

i don’t know this professor, but he sure got hair…
September 4th, 2008 at 12:11 am
Obviously this guy is stuck in the 60’s and can’t getaway from it. I bet he listens to Jerry Garcia and you know what else that comes to mind when you think of Jerry Garcia.
September 11th, 2008 at 12:31 am
Unfortunately, I agree with three of his videos. (Excluding the hair)… I just hope that people become professors because they are passionate and interested and like or don’t mind helping students, not because they get some big honkin pay check at the end of month or week. Same with doctors and nurses.

Love his comments on “Buying an education”. He’s right, students need to put more time and effort into EARNING their degrees. It would be nice to think that degrees are not just handed out.
November 20th, 2008 at 4:00 pm
Wow, this guy is such an eloquent speaker…good thing he’s teaching communications.
November 21st, 2008 at 10:37 am
I’d love to take his class – seems like a passionate teacher and very well-spoken.
December 23rd, 2008 at 12:46 am
He looks like a troll…an annoying old troll hehehe.
January 13th, 2009 at 12:39 am

July 4th, 2009 at 5:06 am

DON’T WORRY PROFESSOR I GOT YOUR BACK
July 10th, 2009 at 5:39 pm
re: Mocking. Look, your teacher is like your coach. If you drop the ball at a practive, your coach and in fact your team may mock you. In a real game they won't but the other team sure will!
Your classroom is a training setting. Have fun with it… accept a few "hey butterfingers," comment in good spirit, if that's your teacher's style. Man up!
July 22nd, 2009 at 10:00 am
"News flash, no one can teach you other than yourself. " That is so wrong it's not even funny…anymore. There are far too many "teachers" that don't earn the money they receive for the job they are supposed to be doing…let alone the title of "teacher" or "instructor".
September 15th, 2009 at 9:06 am
I'm 27, I'm losing my hair, probably going bold soon…I ENVY him for having such an awesome fluffy hair at such an age (though I'd probably strike it down smooth or make a sexy italian/spanish hair-bow-tie out of it rather than a whitey-fro).
Teach on, teach!

I think it's because the lenses in his glasses each have a different prescription.

I saw this guy once in a restaurant. He was several tables away from us and speaking so loudly everyone in the place could hear him. It was a small place, so it was obvious he was just after all the attention. But I do like his hair.
December 14th, 2009 at 10:35 am
I like him. He is honest and seems willing to push students to better themselves. Incase no one gets it, that is what a college education is about! I would take him for any class it I was at the same school.
January 22nd, 2010 at 4:51 am
Very interesting professor! He apologized saying "I am sorry" this is what a human being should be! You cannot expect more from him! Think twice before you write your awful comments, folks!
February 13th, 2010 at 12:09 pm
I really think i need to give him thanks for all the thing he did to teach all students.
