    dude…FILIPINO is the official language of the Philippines.

    It used to be Tagalog but now they call the language Filipino since Tagalog also pertains to a group of people somewhere in Luzon.

    actually he's correct. since 1987 i believe by the Philippine constitution or the KWP. Tagalog is one of the recognized languages. I, too, at first thought it was Tagalog.
