I had this guy!!! He WAS funny, but only because he was mean to kids who were rude in class. If you fell asleep, he would come sit next to you and continue lecturing. Great teacher though.
Prof. Ogilvie was an alright professor. I took his Pysch course at Rutgers. I thought he was a little weird in his responses he would give to students at times. He could be a little bit of a harsh grader as well. Most people in the class got C’s for the class so I overheard. I am not sure if his methods are a screen to fend off his age and to make him seem like he’s with it or not. But most Psych professors are full of themselves, especially at Rutgers, and they are always promoting their books as required readings for the class. This guy is no different.
You are pretty much all “retarted” (see brilliant intellectual superstar’s comment on May 14th above). He’s kidding and you are too dense to get it. And he IS pretty funny. Rutgers must be very proud of this sampling of its brightest and best.
Does anyone else find irony in “ME’s” (by the way, I don’t blame you not writing down your real name; I wouldn’t want to embarrass myself or family, either) spelling of “retarted”? Forget the fact that “ME” is probably a student flunking out of school and labeling a professor of four decades as “retarted;” the spelling should be enough.
he was obviously joking in the first segment about being called "funny". lighten up people! He's a good prof. I have his class at 8:40am and he actually keeps me awake.

Goes to show, proffs have feelings, too. They’re only human.
I like being called funny, but only when I am deliberately being funny. Again, it has to be a deliberate attempt.
I don’t think this proff is really trying to be funny, and so therefore it could be seen as an insult.

I hate stupid teachers like this. I feel bad for anyone in his class.

This guy has a PhD from Harvard… So Lindsay does that make Harvard stupid?
Where did you go to school, Harvard? Doubt it.

I also like ME’s spelling of “opinnion” along with ME’s inexplicable need to share said “opinnion”.

I wasn’t going to go there, but I’m certainly glad someone did! Why can’t stupid people just burst into flames?

Dana says: “Why can’t stupid people just burst into flames?” Well, because then no one would be there to work the drive-thru’s or at Walmart. LOL

Don’t forget to include people who run universities.

He is obviously joking. This is why I do not take ratemyprofessor remarks seriously.
